I found the USB cable for the camera, so here are a couple of images of the new collection, not professionally shot as yet but it gives some idea. When I do have some pro images I will put them up on the website in the portfolio – collections section.
The furniture shown here is made in some beautiful rippled ash sourced from the Tregothnan Estate and Elm sourced from Somerset, I am not sure where the stainless steel elements are from but I think that it is fair to say that it is not local!
The ash is some of the most highly figured that I have come across, some of it is quilted, flamed, rippled, just beautifully figured.
The Collection is designed to be affordable, the chair starts from £430, the side table starts from £380, the standing lamp starts from £275 and the mirror starts from £220 price depending on the wood or woods chosen.
The point of the collection is to show that handmade designer furniture can be accessible to all. The cost of a piece of furniture from the collection is in line with what you would pay from some of the mid range high street stores.
Of course it would be fantastic if customers came directly to the gallery to purchase their local handmade designer furniture rather than trawl through the many stores offering soulless inferior produce imported into this country using vast amounts of resources…but I shan’t start that rant now…just be assured that this collection won’t cost the earth!
